Peppertree Lodge - Paihia

We had an amazing stay at this place! The staff and people there were super nice and friendly. The communal kitchen and lounge were great, with lots of movies and books to enjoy. We also loved the swimming pool and tennis court, it was so much fun. The location was excellent, very close to restaurants, pubs, and the beach. We even borrowed kayaks for free! we highly recommend this place to everyone.

We would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to town. We loved using the free mountain bikes to explore the area. The shaded BBQ area was a great place to meet other backpackers and enjoy our meals. Despite a few minor inconveniences, like the overbooking issue and the lack of refund, we still had a pleasant stay.

Additionally, the rooms were clean and comfortable, with very comfortable beds and private facilities. Finally, the breakfast provided was delicious and a great way to start the day. I was truly impressed with the value for money and attention to detail at this hotel.

We loved our stay at this place! The location was fantastic, being close to bars, restaurants, and the city center. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and great showers. We especially enjoyed the lounge and kitchen area, which had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The outdoor area was also a highlight, providing a nice space to unwind and soak up the atmosphere. this place offered a luxurious experience with enhanced comfort and quality services.

The location of this budget accommodation is unbeatable for those wishing to explore the city. It is situated in close proximity to restaurants, bars, and the beach. the room was clean and comfortable, with a large kitchen and a common area with a TV and DVDs to use. the staff were friendly, and guests have the option to rent bikes or kayaks for free.

Noise can be an issue, particularly if you're a light sleeper and not out enjoying the nightlife.

This hotel surely offers some of the best mattresses and pillows I have ever slept on! They were so comfortable that it was hard to get up in the morning. The location is also very convenient, as it's in the town center, giving us easy access to all the tourist spots and restaurants nearby. the staff was very friendly and hospitable, making our romantic escape even more memorable.

The noise coming from the bars and pubs nearby was quite disturbing at times, especially during the weekend. We could hear people shouting and singing until late at night, which was not ideal for a peaceful and romantic atmosphere.

We loved the central location of this hostel, just a stone's throw away from the main shops and bars right by the sea. The hotel facilities were great, with free parking, kayaks, and bikes to use. The staff were always there to help us out and answer any questions we had. Everything was super clean and tidy, including the kitchen area.

Best aspects were the warm welcome and the convenient location. the hosts were very friendly and greeting us made us feel like home. the accommodation was located close to the beach, ferry, shops, bars, and restaurants. the 5GB comp WiFi for a 2 night stay was quite generous.

Some aspects of cleanliness and the possibility of noise at night. the kitchen area could have been a bit cleaner, and some users could have been neater.

The breakfast provided was also delicious and satisfying.

We also had a peek at the dorms, which looked great too. The shared kitchen was well-equipped and clean. The location of the lodge was perfect, within walking distance of the beach, ferry, shops, bars, and restaurants. We also appreciated the generous offer of 5GB complimentary WiFi for our 2-night stay. our experience was excellent and we would like to extend a big thank you to the hosts.
